the elements and principles of art

hey all ,
this is my first post
hope you guys all learn something or another from here:)

so to begin with the elements and principles
there are 6 elements of art:
1. line
2. colour
3. tone
4. volume
5. texture
6. shape

look at anything around you,
and fill in the elements for exampe,
a piece of chocolate:

1. LINE
the bumpy and straight lines of the chocolate that make the little blocks

2. COLOUR
the dark brown colour with a tinge of white and light brown

3. TONE
where the light hits the chocolate at the most angle
and where there shadows overlapping the little blocks

4. VOLUME
the overall 3D shape of the chocolate

5. TEXTURE
the smoothness of the back and the small ridges at the front of the chocolate

6. SHAPE
the rectangular chocolate block with its little square sections

so that basically describes chocolate
in MY point of view with the
elements and principles of art
next would be how to do line drawing
